The room that started out like this…
And after sanding and painting looked like this…

Woot! A bed! Bookshelves! A carpet!
Granted, the room is by no means complete. That’s all the furniture that’s in there right now. And there’s no art. And we’re not quite ready for the rest of the decor. In fact, here’s what’s left to do, in no particular order:
1. Install crown molding
2. Add a ceiling fan
3. Build/buy/refinish a dresser
4. Add artwork
5. Hang a curtain rod and curtains
6. Get a new rug (I think)
So, yes, the room is far from finished, but I’m so happy that it’s a functional bedroom again, and that it’s starting to come together!
